November 10, 2008 - Fanatical Foreman
I live in San Diego, but I’m not a native, so I did not grow up a Chargers fan. I like the team OK, but don’t go to games very often. So yesterday, when I took my son and a couple of friends to the stadium, it was the first time we’d been there in several years. Attending a pro football game is always a reminder of how “into it” NFL fans are. The Chargers had to hang on in desperation to beat the woeful, 1-7 Chiefs, in a game the Chiefs should have won. But judging by the victory screams walking out of the stadium and horn-homking in the parking lot, you’d have thought the Chargers just won the Super Bowl.
MSA Safety Works (www.msasafetyworks.com) knows that football is the most popular sport in America. And their NFL Hard Hats give fans a distinctive way to live their obsession during that week of drudgery that separates game days. These licensed NFL hard hats meet OSHA head protection requirements while using the same logos as the NFL helmets for an authentic, high quality look. Here’s an interesting fact: Hard Hats are tested to provide a wearer protection from a force roughly equivalent to a 16 oz. hammer dropping 40 feet. Another interesting fact: MSA makes a full line of NFL safety glasses and college hardhats as well.
So even though it’s Monday, and you may have hit the snooze alarm four times before dragging your sorry self out of bed, when you strap on your team helmet you can take solace in the fact that next Sunday is only seven days away.
