September 7, 2008 - Sox that Rock

Are socks created equal? Well, not if they’re Sox. Specifically, Powersox by Moretz Sports (www.powersox.com).  If you want comfort, durability and style (and who doesn’t?), Powersox fit the bill, (and the foot). This is a follow-up to a review we did several months ago as we've tested more versions of the Powersox line and continue to be impressed.

What makes Powersox different? The top have a special, double layer to make them be more durable, look sharper and stay up longer. Vertical ridges are knitted into into Moretz Sports socks specifically to give them elasticity. They use flat-knit construction in the boot to reduce bulk and to conform to your foot's shape so the socks won't bunch up uncomfortably over the ankle.

The sole is designed with double cushioning to prevent foot fatigue and to absorb shock. And since Moretz designs different socks for different sports, they use different density cushioning depending on the activity.

We could go on and tell you about the fully-reciprocated heel and toe, or the special arch support that helps reduce foot fatigue. Or we could simply sum it up this way: They look good and they feel great. Slip on a pair for yourself. They’ll knock your socks off.
